Emeyu’s scoop for measuring matcha powder when making matcha tea, or matcha latte. The scoop, or originally called ‘chashaku’, is made out of bamboo which is traditional in Japan and the original way they measure the matcha powder when making matcha.
How to use the scoop also called chashaku?
When you scoop into the matcha powder, it’s possible to scoop up to approximately 2 g if you get a lot of matcha on the scoop.
After use it’s a good idea to use a little towel or kitchen paper to wipe the matcha off the scoop. The bamboo scoop can’t take water as it will absorb it and the scoop will be destroyed.
